We’re looking for innovative, driven Data Engineers who are passionate about technology and sustainability to join us in building tools that enable companies to make smarter, more responsible decisions. This role is a fixed, permanent position. All successful applicants will receive a permanent employment contract regardless of location.  

 

The role:  

  • Integrate new and existing data into our hyper-connected databases 

  • Manage and optimize the world's largest supply chain database. 

  • Continuously seek and evaluate new sources of data that can be leveraged to enhance our database and provide customers with optimal feature development. 

  • Build robust and scalable data pipelines from both internal and external sources. 

  • Develop and maintain complex data models to support various business needs. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand domain-specific challenges and translate these into technical requirements. 

  • Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data. 

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and methodologies. 

  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality and data security standards.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, preferably in a complex and interconnected database environment. 

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis. 

  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques. 

  • Experience with building and optimizing data pipelines for ETL. 

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams. 

  • Residing in and legally permitted to work in the EU.
