Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced Angular developer to take over the role of Engineering Manager for a full-stack team. You will be comfortable in establishing best coding practices, setting up goals and communicating them with the rest of the team. This role will be reporting to the VP of Engineering.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensuring that consistent design patterns, methodologies, and design documentation are maintained across all of your development projects.
- Performing and supporting technical & design reviews.
- Establish and enforce best coding practices
- Working closely with the Service, Testing, and Support teams to ensure all technical requirements for new projects are captured, designed and developed according to those requirements.
- Ensuring urgent customer issues are resolved through triaging, troubleshooting and quickly applying solutions to any identified problems
- Responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, triaging, and debugging Angular applications.
- Ensuring all key technical requirements are identified, estimated, designed, documented, implemented and integration tested.
- Producing detailed technical specifications based on business requirements documents.
Job requirements
The Right Person Would Have:
- 7+ years of web/UI development
- 6+ years of Angular/AngularJS experience
- Hands on experience in Backend Technologies (PHP, Python, or Java preferable)
- Expert knowledge of web communication protocols
- Experience in developing responsive UI applications
- Solid knowledge of UX aspects of frontend development - you value collaboration with Product Designers to deliver the best-in-class user experience
- Experience in building Design Systems and Component Libraries (e.g., Storybook)
- Proficient Angular CLI, Angular Elements, Angular Material and Component Dev Kit (CDK)
- Proficient with NodeJS, NPM and Webpack
- Experience in establishing best coding practices and test coverage.
- Familiarity with web accessibility basics is a plus
